Meet The Dolls

Hello! Here's where I talk about all my dolls, what they're like, and when I got them. :) I'm trying not to pin specific ages on them, but I imagine them being 11-13 years.
(I received Molly for Christmas in 2009, from my parents. About two weeks before Christmas, I had happened to notice an order form left up on our laptop, for none other than an American Girl. I had made it clear that I really wanted an American Girl for Christmas, and got so excited that I was clearly getting someone! It was awful waiting for it... and on Christmas Eve my mom was braiding my hair and asked me if I was sad that I wasn't getting Molly for Christmas. I held my breath and said, "No..." but the following morning, once a few smaller presents were opened, I was handed a starry, long box  and low and behold, it was Molly!)

Name: Molly Elenor Mcintire "The Leader"
Age: April 22nd, 1934

About:
MMolly is the obvious leader of the doll pack, even though she will often take the back seat to Mia. She is quite an imaginative and determined girl, but can be pretty moody. She has a difficult time adjusting to change in her life. She loves to read mystery books, and dreams of being a broadway star. She will occasionally play dolls with her best friend, Emily Bennett, who is practically a sister to her.

(After getting Molly, I felt like she needed a friend, and who better to get than Emily? A trip was planned to the American Girl Place in Chicago that summer, and after saving up $40, I went there and paid for half of Emily, my mom paying the other half. I was estactic to have a doll that I could finally do her hair, which was part of the reason I wanted an American Girl in the first place!)
Name: Emily Rose Bennett "The Brain"
Birthday: September 29, 1933
About:
Emily came over to America to avoid being caught in the middle of World War II. She is very shy, and even when you get to know her, still  quite reserved, respectful and logical. Emily is very mature for her age, and masks her feelings very well. She enjoys learning, specifically English and Math, and loves to garden, and dabbles in sewing and knitting. She also dotes and cares for her precious dolls, and spends most of her time in Molly's company.

(In October, my mimi (grandma) asked me, "If you could have another AG which one would you get?" I answered I really didn't want another AG, but I said Kirsten, Samantha or maybe Mia. After that (This is where it gets confusing) I was helping My grandma find a used Felicity doll for herself on eBay, therefore she let me get on her eBay. When I went to see what ones we were watching at the time I saw that My grandma had won a MIA doll. She told me it was a Christmas present, but gave it to me early anyway.)
 Name: Mia Delilah St. Clair
Age: 12 October 17th
About:
Mia can come off as a wily, bossy, risk-taker and enjoys trying to be as funny as possible. But underneath that, she does have a more sensitive side she tends to hide. She is a figure skater with high hopes on becoming Olympic gold medalist, and loves watch My Little Pony. She'll wear just about anything in front of her, from sports-wear to dresses, and eat just about anything as well. Her favorite color is purple, and her favorite food is Waffles.

( I expected not to get any more dolls for awhile, since I had just gotten three in one stinking year! But, when Kanani came out, I thought she was utterly gorgeous. So, when the "win Kanani Akina" contest came out, I tried really really hard to win, and sent about 308 postcards for it! (for those of you who didn't enter the contest, you had to make online postcards and email them to every one to enter, therefore giving you another chance to win.) I didn't win.I started to save up, and by my birthday, I had my grandma order her for me. She paid for the shipping, and I paid for the doll. So, on my birthday, I gave her the money and opened the doll. I love her beautiful hair!)
Name: Kanani Keona Akina
Birthday: June 9th

Kanani came to visit her cousin in the mainland, all the way from Hawaii, but decided to stay. She high spirited, talkative, has a great concern for others well being, and is always welcoming. She loves to play guitar and sings, and adores animals of all kinds, especially her dog, named Barksea. She works at the Akina Shave Ice Shack, a smallish blue wooden stand, that she started and built herself in the middle of town. She daydreams of being a mermaid, and is an excellent swimmer. She doesn't fuss to much about clothes, but prefers to wear more comfy things.

Thanks for visiting! I hope you enjoyed reading about my doll family :3

    1. I don't know... I've seen some people really turned off by "different" brands of dolls in the past, so I've removed it. I should put her back up there, because I love her and the doll community seems a lot more open to different dolls since Doll Diaries has exploded. Thank you for the suggestion! :D

  6. I love your new doll profiles! The pictures are utterly gorgeous, you are so amazing at photography!! I wish my photography was even 1/2 as great as yours :) I second the idea of re-adding Laylie's profile, I love A Life Of Faith dolls, too :) (My A Life Of Faith Millie doll that I re-named Anna was my first 18 inch doll so the A Life Of Faith brand is special to me)
