Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Now, I'm not very keen on this crazy idea that google has floating around of deleting Google Friend Connect (i. e, the way you follow my blog) BUT just in case the keep going with the idea, I set up a bloglovin' -.-
(there's a nice and dandy photo to prettify this pointless post. :) )

Kanani's New Curls!
Posted by
welcome to hell
Yesterday, I took out Kanani's curls. They've lost there twist and a lot of there life, so on Sunday, I decided to re-curl them.
This time around, I made sure the were a TON tighter, and much closer to her scalp. Excuse the funky front curl, I had to spray them down every day, and I didn't want a floppy wet curl in her eyeball ;)
Here's the first one. The second I took them out, they very bouncy, and they still are! One of the major things I like of her hair after I curl it, is that the ends are all tightly together, and not looking like... well, not pretty.
Oh her curls are so gourgeus! So bouncy, soft, and very smooth. I can't get enough of them.
Here's a front view. In conclusion, they're in some ways more corkscrew like, and less of the prefect AG ones. (they have fallen out slightly by now)
If you would like to re-curl your Kanani's hair, look at Mia's instagram: www.instagram.com/miaskatergirl.
Have an AWESOME day,

Doll Photography Tips! #1: Lighting.
Posted by
welcome to hell
Hi! today I've got some tips for you, something that I've struggled with recently, but very easy to correct... lighting.
Lighting is ab-so-lute-ly KEY to taking good pictures. Low light = bad. Room lights = bad (mostly) to MUCH light = bad. I prefer to take pictures outside, because there is usually pretty good, beautiful lighting.
Here is an example of a really bad photo:
What do you notice that's wrong with this picture? The lighting! To much light, to be exact. The eyelash shadows are very weird, and extremely unnatural. No good. Afterward, I moved her under the shade of a tree. The leaves kind of act like flash de-fusers for the sun.
Better, right? Another way you can avoid the shadows (and glare) from the sun is to make sure the sun is behind the doll, and the doll in front of the sun.
Example:
That's all I've got for now! :)
