Mia's OOTD // October 19th, 2014

These pictures I'm about to share with you were once lost, but they're now found!

Heh, sorry guys. It's Mia. I'm here with another fabulous and slightly odd OOTD, featuring some Zellawear Corduroy Skinny Jeans that actually haven't been released yet. I'm here to give you a sneak peak of them before they're sold in a December Release called Chilly Days. (or something along the lines of that)

Because it's chilly. 

As you can see, things still look quite green in this post, I mean, check out those leaves back there. Green. These were taken back in October, but then I lost them. It's much less green now, trust me. It actually snowed yesterday. The only green left now are the leaves on the bushes that are slowly freezing to death. (but that's okay with me, because the cold never bothered me anyway) 

I'm getting off topic, and Jeneca is probably going to fire me now for being such a horrible post writer... oops... 

Here's the run down of ze outfit:

Shoes // Release Rain on Ebay

 The lighting outside was pretty epic, too. It looked much more fall like out on the road outside the house. The dribbled golden sunshine, blurred red trees... *sigh*

 It was simply lovely. These awesome chords helped, too. They're soft, stripy and so cold-weather-season-perfect. Do you call your Corduroy pants Chords? I do, it's fun.

 Well, thanks for reading, guys! I hope I haven't bored you with these outfits I've been putting together... I've been enjoying making them! Hehe.

Mia's OOTD // October 8th, 2014 (and a photoshoot)

Hola! It's me. Today I will be sharing my OOTD, as stated in the title above this very sentence!
This one was fun. Edgy, yes. A bit strange? Yes. Not-really-something-that-could-pass-for-normal, well yes, so am I! HA!
Anyway, let me get on with it.

T-shirt // American Girl 

Shortalls // Zellawear 

Socks // ALOF 

Shoes // ALOF 

Headband // American Girl 

 So when I saw that we had this floral shortalls, and I needed to wear them for a photoshoot, my wheels got churning.
What matches floral shortalls?

 I mean, when its summer, you can kind of get away with just wearing the shortalls... but when its 60 degrees or possibly colder?
not happening.

 So it just popped into my head. To bring out the darker colors in the fabric, and and fall trends, I've paired these shortalls with some Victorian socks (long story) and a simple black shirt.

 So yes, it may look a little strange, but I think it's quite cute.

(plus, I got to go outside and enjoy some warm temps, because now all the leaves from the trees are down on their knees, and no flowers are to be found.)

Fall is beautiful. Yours truly's birthday takes place in fall. It is a wonderful time of the year... It's the only time of year that my hair color matches the trees! :D

Plus, you get to find pretty leaves.

 

And of course, climb trees.

Merry Christmas! {{Mia Blogging Mondays}}

YAr Har Har and Hello! I do not know where the pirate came from, but MERRY BELATED CHRISTMAS! I HOPE YOUR HOLIDAY WAS ENJOABLE. Whoops left caps lock on, hehe. Anywhay, like I said, I hope your holiday was enjoyable! Here's what we did...
(sorry if these take forever and a million years to load, someone forgot to turn of shooting in RAW)

 Here am I, In my brand new lovely outfit that is all mine ;) {{credit to the human for taking this one. There's only so many things that these tiny vinyl hands can do, and taking full link selfies while capturing the adorable bow atop my head? that's not one of them.}}

But I took the rest of the pictures.

 Random, tilted pic of Molly... ? Yeah.  She's still in her PJ's (I'm wearing my fancy smacy new years outfit.)

 Emmy. She doesn't like it when I call her that, but it's a habit. She was "quite" (as Emmy would say) "bewildered" (also as Emmy would say) when I started flashing people with my camera.

And here's Kanani. I've got the prettiest cousin around! XD

How did your holidays gone, my lovelies? It was all good around here! (as you can see) even if the presents were really short this year... I mean, whats up with that? But I did learn (yet again) that Christmas isn't all about presents, and who cares what everyone else got!

How to do a Sock Bun on American Girl.

{Hola! I'm skipping the apoligees, if you wanna read those, you can read them on my "human" blog a little later. -Jeneca}
Hey guys, it's Mia. I'll be demonstrating my new favorite hairstyle, perfect for dance and ice skating, or just to wear around normally, because admit it, they're pretty cute!
I mean, It's so much more bun like and much nicer than a normal twist around bun...

 Count this as "Mia's Mondays" or whatever I called it.

 

You'll Need:

*a sock bun 

*hair elastics

*bobby pins

 

 

 In case you don't know, here's a simple tutorial on how to make your sock bun. Simply take a {clean} sock and snip off the toe. Roll it up like I did above.

 Step 1: brush your doll's hair up tight in a ponytail, securing with an elastic.

 Step two: Slip the sock bun onto the ponytail, and pull up to the base

 Step Three: Flair out all the hair, and, keeping the hair flaired, pull the sock bun up to the tip of the pony tail.

 Step four: Tuck hair around and under the bun, then roll down, essentially curling the hair around the bun.

Step Five: If your doll has lots of longish flyaways, secure with an elastic. Bobby pin down so it doesn't look like it's popping out.

There you go! Now go our into the world and rock that bun!

Scrambling to Camp!

Hello everyone! It's Mia here. Currently everyone is packing for camp doll diaries! There's a lot of shouting, throwing of different   clothing articles, asking for missing items, and of course, packing.

That's the pile of items that need to be packed. We're only packing for a few days, since camp is so close and we want to come home every now and ten anyway... Well, I don't want to. XD  

SO since no one has posted in awhile, I took some time out of packing to share with you the crazy hurricane rush packing.

 

Kanani: Mia!! Have you seen my pajamas   anywhere!?  

Me: Um, no Kanani.  

Molly: hey! We're allows to bring pets!! YAHOO!! Wait, No NO BENNETT! That's not yours!!  

Kanani: not to be rude or anything but you should probably get packing.

I had SOMETHING to say...

Yeah, I forgot. I'll tell you when I remember.

So, it's Monday. Or at least I think it is. Yeah, I think it is. My memory isn't doing very well today. Dunno why, maybe it was to much skating yesterday. I had to practice Saturday, early in the morning, them come BACK because I forgot a bunch of stuff but the coach was still here so she insisted on me practicing for another hour because of the upcoming show... yeah I'm kind of looking forward to summer.

 I still can't remember what I was going to say... Oh well. Maybe I'll never remember? Maybe you'll just sit there for a long long long long long time thinking and starring at this screen wondering, "Gee, I wonder what she was thinking!" Yeah, I'm not going to remember.
So.
Nothing much else to say.
I've got skate practice again tonight at 7pm. The show is June 1st. I think. I don't know, why should you expect me to be able to remember anything right now? Well, you shouldn't.

Hola! Aloha! Bonjour! Look At My Dress!

So, I've had a decent week. Not done much, but loving my new outfit XD:

Purty, right?! Yeah, bit girl for me. Highly Floral. But, it's good for warm days like this! From what I'VE heard, Jeneca is planning on making another one of these here thingys... so... if you're wanting to buy one of these babys? Etsy!! **nudge nudge**

Anyway, first of all, I do want to apologize. Because I was kinda mean then. No joke. My first blog post? Pffft. Funny yes. Considerate? no.

Anyway, it feels so good to be back to blogging! Like jumping into an ice cold pond full of ice cold water with ice cold ice cubes, or taking off stinky hokey equipment and proceeding to throw THEM in the ice cold pond full of ice cold water with ice cold ice cubes.. hehe.
What have I done with my life? Welp, beside the fact that I'm TRYING to get into the 2014 winter Olympics ... nothing. oh well I planted a tree yesterday. Yep-er-roo. I've got nothing to say. ISN'T THIS JUST DANDY?!
