Little Red Riding Hood - A Photoshoot
Posted by
welcome to hell
As my photoshoots can quickly spiral down into nothing, I've tried to give myself more props in my pictures, or a set theme, or goal. This theme was, obviously, Little Red Riding Hood.

Molly's Red Balloon
Posted by
welcome to hell
For my brothers birthday, we released helium balloons into the air after church, with bible verses and other things written on note attached to them.
We had some little water balloons left over from something so I asked my mom to fill one up. Doll sized heilum balloon!
Hence this short photoshoot. :)
That's all for now, folks! So sorry for hardly ANY posts what so ever. I'm a failing blogger. Always have been. XD

What I Got From AGP Columbus
Posted by
welcome to hell
I told you all yesterday that I would post what I got at AGP last month... well, here it is!
Molly's Polka Dot Dress
Ermegoodness. This has got to be the cutest thing ever. When it first came it, my thoughts were "Eh... I could make that." But for American Girl, it is SO DETAILED! The lace around the collar/down the front, the different style of skirt (not a gathered skirt, but not a circle one!) and the absolute perfection of the puffed sleeves all for $28?! PLUS little versatile white shoes and socks! Very very good purchase.
I mean look at that. Adorable. It even has a cloth ribbon bow-tie in the back. This outfit with her locket and glasses is beautiful.
Molly's Saddle Shoes. Again-- TO CUTE! As I understand, these shoes were a staple in 1940's clothing. My grandma (whom I call mimi) said that she wore them in the 50's too. The price is a bit high at $12, but they are very good quality.
Emily's Accessories. These too are very detailed, and that sweater is so cute! I had to get her accessories this time around. Now I have Molly and Emily's Best Friend Collection! (i.e. , the dolls and their accessories.)
And last but not least, the new store shirt. Actually, this shirt is pretty small for AG's. It's extremly tight and kinda short. If you follow Mia on instagram (@miaskatergirl) you might have seen Molly wearing it on the way home... she left the safety of being historical and jumped into modern clothes for awhile... ;)
Well, that's all for now folks! See you later.

Update on my Creations! (Boxes!!)
Posted by
welcome to hell
Do you remember last week when I posted" Boxes!"? Well, here's what I've done with them!
The first thing is I FINALLY got around to covering the Shave Ice Shack with paper... It looks AWESOME! I still haven't perfect the roof thingy, as it falls apart... a lot. Today I did find the shishka bob sticks, so maybe I can fix it.
See? This paper is amazing. Hobby Lobby has all single sheets of scrap booking paper for 50% off! (price is 59c regular) I bought five sheets and it was just enough.
This is what I've done so far in kitchen. I know it looks very shabby so far but...
A very burnt-out-on-kids,

Tour of Molly and Emily's Historical Bedroom!
Posted by
welcome to hell
Hello! Today I'm going o be giving you a tour of Molly and Emily's bedroom... based off of the books, of course. :)
So, here is an overview of there bedroom. The walls are painted wall paper, which were color matched at lowe's from a picture in the Meet Emily book. I cut a star shape in a circle sponge and that's how the stars got there. :)
Okay, so first of all is their dresser. It's actually jewelry box that plays "Home on the Range." But, it has drawers, so I keep their Pajamas inside. On top we have a picture of Molly's dad, a mini kodak film for the camera, molly's nurse doll, and Emily's American Girls.
On Emily's side, we have her bed, which is actually her box, covered in red fleece. On top is a pillow, her stuffies, her cat, Ghost, and two blankets that I made. At the foot, is her yarn basket and a pile of school books.
On Molly's side is her bed, which is also her box covered in fleece. On top of her are her pillows, her Samantha doll, and two blanket's I've made. The wall next to her she has some pictures taped up, mostly of family members. Shoved between the bed and dresser are all of her bags (and camera) Oh, and the dog is her dog, Bennett.
Here's everything in action! Thank you so much for looking, Molly and Emily's bedroom has got to be my favorite. :)
